"I have edited my review having waited 5 weeks to have an issue resolved - a very simple request: On Jan 2nd I sold a car, bought and new one, and wanted them swapped. I had two cars on the policy. Instead, the whole policy was cancelled and I was without coverage, but this was not communicated to me. I found this out myself as I was rejected from insurance elsewhere because they detected a lapse in coverage. I contacted the agency multiple times and they said they would have it re-instated. When it got reinstated the SOLD car was added back, the new car still not on the policy. I called to have corrected - this time the car that I didn't sell was deleted and the one I did was still on the policy. It is now week 5 of this issue, I just received a bill for the car I SOLD on the policy. This agency is totally incompetent - the owner has never returned a single call in 5 weeks, they now only answer my call when I call from a different number. I will be lodging a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the state of NJ and NY insurance regulatory bodies. Thankfully I have everything in writing via email. I am shocked at this lack of professionalism. I have been courteous enough to not post a review, but after receiving an incorrect bill after 5 weeks of this I have to write this. I also don't think I will ever buy car insurance from an agency or State Farm again."

I was able to save a lot of money on my car insurance. He also successfully ran the numbers for homeowners insurance and I switched to State Farm for this, too. However, State Farm, in general, was not great at responding to calls regarding an accident claim I filed. I ended up getting the info I needed re: approvals through the collision center, not State Farm. Garret gets a 5 star rating as this review is for him, not State Farm overall."
