"I am quite surprised with my personal experience of the agency versus all other reviews. I'm okay when it's just a "one off" issue or error, but I have multiple whereby it is just a lack of diligence and follow-through. Going through an agency should mean a lot of the administrative burden is not on the policy holder - at least not the calling around to your prior carriers, mortgage company so that your policy doesn't get cancelled. It has the hallmarks of "lazy" and disorganized. Again, surprised at this based on other reviews, but this is my genuine experience. I am still awaiting a call back on an urgent time sensitive issue, and its creeping to 5 hours already. Case in point."
